Mr. Samir Dhingra, the Principal of The Indian Public School, is both an acclaimed educator and administrator. He has a long teaching experience of more than 30 years at Mussoorie Public School, Welham Girls ' High School and Welham Boys' school, in different positions including 15 years as HOD - Sciences, as a House Master and Dean of Students' Welfare.

A Fulbright Scholar, his additional experience as Controller-1 of Mussoorie Public School, to look after its working, has greatly enhanced his credentials as an able administrator. An active member of the Rotary Club of India and The Indian Association of Physics Teachers, Mr. Samir Dhingra has been a recipient of the Teacher of the year award in the year 2014 and 2015.

He was also the Semi-Finalist in the Urban Indian School Senior Category-2016 organised under the aegis of The Global Education & Leadership Foundation. Alongside the long list of professional courses/ workshops, he has attended is seemingly unending. Some of the workshops being as prestigious as conducted by Houghton Mufflin Harcourt.
