The Indian Public School established in the year 2001 endeavors to
'make a difference to your child's life'. With rapid changes in lifestyles
among today's Indians, it is important to strike a balance between
age-old traditions and modern day outlook. The School endeavors to
create equilibrium by adopting the ancient technique of Gurukul education,
but with a scientific edge. It aspires to produce a citizen who is

6. WHAT IS TEACHER-TAUGHT RATIO AT IPS?
Indian Public School has the best and highly accomplished faculty
with proven abilities. Apart from the teachers who reside on the campus,
school has the benefit of a few senior and specialised visiting staff.
The staff-students ratio will be 1:10 to ensure personal attention.
The full time faculty members staying on the campus will plan and
supervise the after-school and extra-curricular activities and look
after the general supervision needs of the students. They will also
be undergoing faculty development programmes both in India and abroad

7. WHAT DOES THE 'CENTRE FOR CULTURE AND HUMAN VALUES' DO?
This unique centre under the guidance of a Shatavadhani aims at
exposing the , students to various aspects of Indian culture and value
systems. It will organise bhajans and special talks and make students
participate in spiritual activities. Only by participating and experiencing,
the students can imbibe values, because values are not taught but
demonstrated. Main objective of this centre will be to place before
the students, role models worthy of emulation. The Head of the Centre,
who is a Shatavadhani, would teach students the art of grasping, retention

9. ARE STUDENTS PROVIDED WITH COUNSELLING AND CAREER GUIDANCE?
Apart from teachers, Indian Publicl School has the guidance of trained
counselors to help students in personal, academic and career guidance.
There will also be an opportunity of counseling by peers. Based on
the aptitude and performance of students, guidance will be given to
students regarding the courses of study or the University they can
join for further studies. The School computer system will record and
store every information about each student to have a complete database
so that counseling becomes effective.
10. ARE STUDENTS TRAINED FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMS?
We assume that a large majority of our students would
like to continue their studies in India. They may wish to take up
competitive examinations to gain entry into prestigious institutions
such as Indian Institute of Technology, Regional Engineering Colleges,
All India Institute of Medical Sciences and other Engineering and
Medical colleges in different states. The Indian Public School will
make necessary arrangements for training the students intensively
to prepare for these examinations.We hope that most of our students
will complete their grade 12 from The Indian Public School and some
of them would be aiming at joining institutions of higher learning
in UK, USA and other countries of the world.
