Felicitation Ceremony
The Indian Public School, hosted a unique event, the 5th S.P.Sinha Memorial Felicitation Ceremony, on its School Campus to felicitate scholar students from across the country today. 42 students, who had scored 95% or more in their 10th Board Annual Examinations, 2011, were short listed from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Odisha from more than 200 applicants for this unique honour. Each one of the scholar students was presented with a cash award of Rs 25,000/-, a gift hamper comprising five very useful books and several mementos, by Mr C.S. Gwal, Director, School Education, Govt. of Uttarakhand and the Chief Guest of the ceremony.

The Chief Guest in his speech congratulated the high-achievers, illustrated the motto of education, i.e. to guide to motivate and to imbibe knowledge and values from our elders and exhorted the scholar students not simply to feel proud of their high percentage but to ensure that they were the bearers of Indian cultural values.

Mrs Kamini J. Bahuguna, Principal of the School proposed the vote of thanks and concluded the ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by plantation of saplings on the campus by all the scholar students, their parents and staff of the school, primarily to feed birds and animals of the area.
